Diagnosed cases of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder are on the rise. A Centers for Disease Control and Prevention study shows 11% of children between the ages of four and 17 are diagnosed with A.D.H.D. That's a 16% increase since 2007 and a 5% jump over the last decade.
